Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 package yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon table salt
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • ½ cup minced green pepper
  • 1 onion , minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 cup Gouda
  • 1 cup mozzarella
  • pizza pan

Instructions

  • In your stand mixer or large bowl, combine water, sugar, oil, flour, yeast, and salt. Gently combine and mix on medium for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer dough to a large bowl (sprayed with non-stick will help) and let rise on the counter for 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven or stone to 425 deg F. Roll out the pizza into a 12” pizza with no lip on the pizza. Run the sauce, cheese, then toppings all out to the edge of the pizza. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until bubbly and awesome.
