Cuban Pizza
Ingredients
- 2 2/3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 package yeast
- 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon table salt
- 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
- ½ cup minced green pepper
- 1 onion , minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 cup Gouda
- 1 cup mozzarella

Instructions
- In your stand mixer or large bowl, combine water, sugar, oil, flour, yeast, and salt. Gently combine and mix on medium for 5 minutes.
- Transfer dough to a large bowl (sprayed with non-stick will help) and let rise on the counter for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven or stone to 425 deg F. Roll out the pizza into a 12” pizza with no lip on the pizza. Run the sauce, cheese, then toppings all out to the edge of the pizza. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until bubbly and awesome.
