Ingredients

  • 2 cups of crisp apples diced (preferably a mix of sweet and tart varieties)
  • 1 cup of red seedless grapes halved
  • 1 cup of celery finely chopped
  • 1 cup of roasted walnuts coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

Instructions

  • Wash and dice the apples, halve the grapes, and finely chop the celery. Place them in a large mixing bowl. Gently fold in the coarsely chopped roasted walnuts, ensuring an even distribution of nuttiness throughout the salad.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, and honey until well combined. Adjust the sweetness and acidity to your taste. Pour the dressing over the fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Gently toss everything together until evenly coated with the creamy dressing.
  • Refrigerate the Waldorf Salad for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld. Serve chilled and garnish with additional roasted nuts for an extra crunch.
