Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and grease a standard loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, combine the oil, bananas, coffee, vanilla, and eggs and whisk until smooth.* Fold in the chocolate chips and pour into your pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 35-40 minutes. Cool the loaf in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out and cool completely, right side up.
After bread is out of the pan, make the glaze by combining the powdered sugar with the 1/4 cup of coffee. Place bread on a large plate (you'll see why in a second), poke a few holes in the top of the bread, and slowly pour on the glaze. Allow for 30 minute to set up, then slice and serve along with a cup of coffee!

*Yep, I'm not creaming the eggs and sugar. I want a certain denseness to this bread to soak up all of the wonderful glaze.
