- 4 1/2 inch thick trimmed boneless pork chops
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Place large saute pan over medium heat for 3 minutes. Pat pork dry with paper towels, then season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Add oil to the pan, then the pork chops in a single layer. Cook for 4-5 minutes a side, or until nicely browned and a temperature of 145 deg F. Let rest off the heat for 3 minutes before cutting.
