How to Cook Quinoa
- 1 cup quinoa
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Pour water, oil, and salt into medium sized pot. Bring to a boil.
- In the finest (size, not quality) strainer you have, rinse quinoa under water for one minute. Once water is boiling, stir in rinced quinoa. Return to a boil, then cover and reduce to a simmer. Cook for 13 minutes, then remove from heat and let sit for another 5. Fluff with a fork and serve.
